On April 11-10 2026, students from every area of engineering at the U. of I. displayed booths and exhibits across campus to celebrate this year’s Engineering Open House. Along with university students, primary and secondary schoolers traveled to campus to take part in engineering-related activities. In addition to university-led exhibits, the high school robotics program Ctrl-Z led an exhibit with some of our very own Uni students.
From learning the science behind cotton candy making, to learning to solder, students got to experience STEM activities first hand and learn from experienced university and high school engineers.
