(Class of 2011). I was in Herr W’s German class for four years during Uni — had so much (perhaps too much) fun. Thanks for putting up with all my antics, Herr W!! Enoy your retirement 🙂

I love this video and the associated tributes to the unrivaled Herr W! Superb job, Bridget and Phong! And of course, all the best to Herr W but remember: le français est bien meilleur que l’allemand. When I arrived at Uni, I was looking forward to meeting this dude “HervĂ©” that everyone talked about, thinking him French or QuĂ©becois. Then it turned out that it was HERR W, not “HervĂ©,” o lĂ lĂ , quelle dĂ©ception! I still enjoyed having him as a colleague, and wish him well!
