This Tuesday, Tim Bicknell introduced two new head coaches to Uni High. Former track coach Sarah Walker resigned from her position last year and will be replaced by Dean Kamps, who is currently a 7th grade teacher at Edison Middle School.

Kamps has had four years of coaching experience with middle school and high school athletes across the state, and has been certified as a Level 1 coach by the USA Track and Field organization.

The head coach position for High School Girl’s basketball will be filled by Brad Wilson, who coached boys and girls basketball at Heritage High School in Homer, Illinois, where he currently lives with his wife and two kids.

This Friday (9/22), Wilson will be holding an informational meeting for high school girls interested in playing basketball this season, which begins on Oct. 30.
