Uni High crushes Paris High School in an 8-1 victory losing one singles match and sweeping the doubles contests. Krishna Subbiah and Arav Jagroop got wins in both singles and doubles.

On Saturday, Uni finished in 4th place at the inaugural Robert Logan Doubles Invitational in Alton, IL. A remarkable feat after defaulting one flight of doubles. Sam Li and Krishna Subbiah finished 3rd in the Number #1 bracket. Samir Gray and Aakash Pardeshi finished 5th in the Number #3 division. Zachary Donnini and Arav Jagroop were runners-up in the Number #2 bracket losing to Saint Louis University High School in the final. Despite their defeat, Donnini and Jagroop were awarded the Robert Logan Invitational Sportsmanship Award.

The Uni girls’ soccer team pulled out an away triumph over the host Conquering Riders in an East Central Illinois Conference match. Betsy Ruckman had the lone goal and was assisted by Anna Ondrejckova. The Illineks moves to 4 wins on the season.

Macon-Meridian: 0

Uni shut-out Macon-Meridian in a non-conference clash. 7 girls scored for the Illineks including 2 goals each from Allie Kim, Maxine van der Donk, and Mayahuel Malik. Uni has a record of 5-3-1 so far this season.

On Tuesday, the Uni girls placed 1st and boys placed 2nd at the Paxton-Buckley-Loda track meet.

The girls won both the 4X800 meter relay race as well as the 4X100. Charlotte Ebel also contributed a win in the triple jump event. Danbi Choi also took first place in the mile race. 

The boys received victories from Blessing Omoniyi in the 100m hurdles, Curtis Althaus in the 100m, Izzy Gray in the 800m.
