On Monday, Feb. 5, during Uni’s Black History Month Assembly, Uni Associate Director Karl Radnitzer announced his retirement.
Radnitzer’s retirement will be effective during the 2024-2025 school year.
On Feb. 22, a job posting was announced on Uni social media to fill the Assistant/Associate Director for Student Life position.
The job’s responsibilities involve student contact, administration and admin communication, scheduling, and class logistics.
According to the job posting, “This position supports the Director in all aspects of the operation of the school, with special emphasis on student issues, and acts as a liaison to mediate between student and faculty concerns.”
At Uni, Radnitzer developed the Senior Project class during the spring semester, designed a summer enrichment camp for local fifth through seventh graders, and “[oversaw] all student affairs and clubs and services as a faculty rep for MPAG,” or the Multicultural Parent Advisory Group, according to the Uni website.
