Uni eSports transitions smoothly in Covid-19 Pandemic
Welcome back to the Uni High Gargoyle!
Today we are putting the spotlight on a unique topic of Uni’s quarantine life. Uni’s student body achieves one full year of being in online learning as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic which halted Uni’s normal school lifestyle following spring break of the 2019-2020 school year.
The coronavirus outbreak has affected and drastically changed many aspects of Uni’s community.
In addition to school being held online with online tools such as Compass and Zoom, many Uni athletes have had parts or all of their sports seasons altered or canceled. Many parts of Uni’s student life with clubs and activities have also been canceled or adjusted for the online circumstances.
However, one activity made a smooth transition to being remote as it is already done online and that’s eSports!
In this video, Aakash and Kevin will give insight to Uni eSports during the Covid-19 Pandemic and allow members of the Uni eSports club to offer their experiences of playing these video games competitively while in isolation.
