Roving Reporter – After the demolition

                                                                 Roving Reporter: After the Demolition

A playground? The letter L? More parking space? The questions asked about what the plot of land that used to be Hue and Math house will become has been a lingering question. Many students and faculty have high hopes for what it might turn into. Here at the Gargoyle we have many hopes for what it might be. Some ideas for what we would like it to be are a playground, a tennis court, and one idea which is thinking farther into the  future would be tearing down Uni gym and creating a new, renovated gym. Our predictions for what it will be is more parking space for uni students. Here is what other people thought.

Sophomore Jessica Valete:

What would you like the plot of land to become?

I think it should be a giant playground so we can have a nice place to relieve our stress.

What do you think it will become?

Extra parking space.

Senior Devin Epstein:

What would you like the plot of land to become?

Maybe a garden, something that allows us to play frisbee.

What do you think it will become?

Nothing. Just grass.

Librarian Paul Kotheimer:

What would you like the plot of land to become?

I think it would be wonderful if it became a 21st century version of this very building so Uni can become an L and twice the size.

What do you think it will be?

I think it will be empty for at least a year, if not two, beyond that I can’t even say.

Junior Jack Hsiao-Weckler:

What would you like the plot of land to become?

A playground.

What do you think it will be?

Open area.

Sophomore Alice Correia:

What would you like the plot of land to become?

More space for more tables, because now if you sit on one table you basically claim the whole table. So it would be able to accommodate more people.

And what do you think it will become?

Probably some new innovative Hue House, because the system in the school right now there is not enough space for everyone’s offices.

Max Ludaescher

What would you like the plot of land to become?

I guess a student friendly place kinda like Siebel (…) to go there after school.

What do you think the plot of land will be?

Probably grass for sports.
